Green holidays start with a corrugated board guesthouse

corrugated house A year ago we wrote about a French couple looking to enlarge their home to offer sustainable bed and breakfast facilities and who had decided to develop and build a cardboard house. Well, it is now completed and ready to welcome guests in search of green holiday options! The building is a very sophisticated assembly of waterproof and fireproof panels of corrugated board. The panels of recycled cardboard are bound together inside wooden frames and the unit is designed to withstand winter storms. Strong and light, the panels are also efficient in terms of thermal quality.

A bold statement but great looking accommodation for green holidaymakers: http://www.enezgreen.com/destinations/site/l_ilot_carton_guest_houses-237/
