Retro packaging is Rock ‘n’ Roll

Every summer for the last two years, the American brewer, MillerCoors has hosted the Miller Freshtival – a music festival in Turkey.  And they’ve done something very Rock ‘n’ Roll to their packaging.

To promote the event and provide festival-goers with a branded means to carry the company’s beer, they created this corrugated boom box design for their six-packs.

The box has two sides, one side shows the cassette / radio tuner, while the other shows the image of a speaker. By adding three boxes together, you see the Miller boom box.  How cool is that?

It just shows how the creative use of corrugated packaging can promote brands and increase sales.  Music to the ears of producers and retailers alike!
